If the puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to have a non-treatable congenital defect condition, the seller shall replace the puppy or give a full refund of purchase price if like puppy is unavailable, provided that the AKC registration papers are returned. A copy of the vet report must be given to the seller at the time of notification. In the event of death, an autopsy report shall be performed at buyer’s expense to determine the congenital defect and cause of death. The report must be provided before a replacement/refund is given. The breeder is not responsible for any vet charges or fees in diagnosing or treating any illness or genetic defect. There will be no replacement/refund given if the death was the result of abuse, neglect or accident.
This puppy is warranted only for the purpose of companion animal. There is no warranty given as to it’s fitness for any special purpose.
The purchaser authorizes the breeder to take possession of the puppy/dog from any dog catcher, rescue, humane society or private party that has found, caught or had relinquished to them the above animal, until the purchaser can be notified. The purchaser agrees to reimburse the breeder for associated costs. If the purchaser cannot be found, the breeder is authorized to take full ownership after 2 weeks.
The purchaser understands and agrees to the terms and conditions as stated above and has received a copy of the statement of consumer rights.
